The World`s greatest ever driver is set to dominate F1, for several years to come.For there is a God... his name is Michael Schumacher!!. Michael Schumacher is my total and absolute hero.  Young Michael Michael was born on January 3rd, 1969,in Hurth Hurmulheim,Germany, to Rolf and Elisabeth Schumacher. He is 1.74m tall,and weighs 68kg. The road to 6 World titles began when he took up karting...at age 4!. |

 Michael and Ralf Michael`s brother Ralf was born on June 30th,1975.The 2 brothers have always been very close,with Michael very protective of his young`un!. Their driving skills were learned at their own karting circuit,in Kerpen. |

 Michael was german junior kart champion in 1984 and 85.He became senior champion in 1987,and won the german formula 3 championship in 1990.He made his formula one debut in 1991 at Spa,for Jordan. Michael was driving as a stand-in for Bertrand Gachot,who was in jail for assaulting a taxi-driver!. |

Michael`s debut race,was the only race he ever drove for Jordan.He switched to Benetton,and won his first Grand Prix at Spa.This was on August 30th,1992,and was on the first anniversary of his debut race!.  Michael with his wife,Corinna A switch to Ferrari in 1996,saw Michael finish 3rd overall.He was stripped of second place in 1997,after a racing incident with Jacques Villeneuve,in the last race of the season. In 1998,after a collision with David Coulthard in the rain at Spa ripped his front wheel off,Michael had to be restrained from punching the Scot!. 1998 was also the year he stalled on the grid in Japan, effectively killing his chance of a 3rd World title. |

 A familiar sight at most Grand Prix`s! 1999 was the year that Michael crashed at Stowe Corner,in the British Grand Prix.He broke his leg, and morons in the crowd were actually cheering. Mika Salo drove the several races that Michael missed. Michael won his 3rd World title in 2000,which gave Ferrari their first drivers championship since 1979. A 4th World title came in 2001,with 123 points!. Michael also broke Alain Prost`s record,for the most amount of points and wins. |

 The greatest driver,ever! Michael married Corinna Betsch,at Mannheim registry office on Tuesday 1st August,1995.They live at Vufflens-le-Chateau,Switzerland. They have 2 children....Gina-Maria,and Mick. Michael`s manager is Willi Weber,who also manages Ralf!. In 2002,having unveiled the new car,Ferrari opted to use the 2001 car for the first few races,due to reliability concerns with the new one.Michael won the 2002 season opener at Melbourne with the 2001 car,and took 3rd at Malaysia..which shows how advanced Ferrari are over their competitors. On July 21st,2002..Michael won his 5th World title in the quickest time in history. On October 12th,2003,Michael made history as the first driver ever to win 6 world titles!! There is only one thing bigger than Michael Schumacher....... the sky above him!. |
